Mickey and friends joined the celebration of the 45th anniversary of Disneylands Haunted Mansion attraction with the release of special, limited edition versions of the spooky but adored stretching portraits!
These canvas posters are humorous recreations with other Disney characters replacing the original cast of the Haunted Mansion stretching portraits. Minnie Mouse has been reimagined as the tightrope walker above, Tick Tock, the crocodile from Peter Pan. Minnie is holding a parasol and wearing pink ballet shoes like the original character in the stretching portrait. This poster was made available only at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante in Disneyland.
Daisy Duck holds a rose while she sits atop the grave of her beloved (like the original character) Donald. Interestingly, the ax found in the bust of the original Haunted Mansion version is absent from this poster. This poster was made available only at the Plaza Inn in Disneyland.
Mickey, Donald and Goofy form a tower to try to escape the quicksand pit they are trapped it. Each character has an extremely worried expression on their face akin to the original art but comical. This poster was made available only at River Belle Terrace in Disneyland.
Goofy is standing on a barrel of dynamite which looks like it is about to ignite. Like the original Haunted Mansion portrait, Goofy is missing his pants and wearing red and white striped boxers.This Goofy poster was made available only at the French Market Restaurant in Disneyland. This limited edition set of canvas prints is the must have collectible for Disney fanatics, especially those who love the Haunted Mansion attraction or anyone who adores Halloween-related items. Each poster is 9" x 24". According to the official Disney Parks blog, the images on the canvas are 7" wide by 22" tall. The posters have a 2 border on all sides.
The stickers on the Daisy and Minnie poster packaging have some storage wear. Both stickers have corners that have peeled up a bit. Each poster is sealed except the Mickey/Donald/Goofy poster. Though the Mickey/Donald/Goofy poster has an open seam on one end, it has never been removed from the packaging.
